handledbystandard.net belongs to Standard by Design LLC. We send email from it. We do not run a website here — ours is at handledbystandard.com.

STANDARD builds a finished website for a local business before asking them for anything, and then sends one link so they can look at it. No obligation, and nothing to fill in to see it. If we wrote to you, that is almost certainly what it was.

Introductions to people who did not ask for them collect complaints, even when they are welcome and even when they are done well. We would rather those land on a domain that does nothing else than on the one that sends our customers their invoices, their password resets and the links to their own sites.

It is the same company either way, with the same address and the same phone number, printed below.

Every message we send carries an unsubscribe link, and it works the first time you press it — no sign-in, no form, no “update your preferences”.
